The main sources of our documentation (records, material, photos, documents, publications, estates of deceased personalities etc. etc.) were and are
- the Billiard Museum and Billiard Archive Heinrich Weingartner, Vienna
- the billiard collection and Billiard Archive Dieter Haase, Kassel
In addition, there are numerous documents and photos that were kindly made available to me by numerous billiard players, officials and billiard enthusiasts.
Not to be forgotten as sources are the international and national billiard federations such as
UMB, CEB, DBU, BSVÖ, FFB, KNBB, DBBU, Fibis.
In addition, there is extensive material from Manfred Hekerle (Vienna), Cees Sprangers (Dongen),
Kurt Dahlhaus (Hattingen), Ingrid Englbrecht (Vienna) and Piet Steenis (Vianen).
The following list of helpers who provided documents and photos is compiled to the best of my knowledge and belief. If I have not listed anyone, please accept my apologies and I will correct this as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, due to the enormous amount of material, it can easily happen that I have forgotten to mention someone. Sorry!
